RAC Wien-Schottentor

Rotaract Club Wien-Schottentor is an international club that seeks to exemplify diversity, equality, and inclusion. In addition to the Rotarian goals, we are particularly dedicated to fostering friendship within the large human family to which we all belong. We maintain respectful interactions in our club and pay attention to sibling-like togetherness irrespective of special needs, ethnicity, gender identity and sexual orientation, skin color, national or social origin, political or other opinion, mental health, religion or belief, language, income, birth or other status, or membership of another minority.

In short, we are thankful for the many different ways of being human and the tremendous potential that we are able to bring together in our club. Tolerance for the opinions of others is very important to us because only through exchange at eye level can we advance society together and work on a better world. In order to concentrate on our commitment to Vienna and beyond, we avoid discussions about party politics or religion.

Help

We regularly support social institutions in Vienna and the surrounding area and are always involved in international initiatives. We help by collecting donations for a good cause and are always happy to lend a hand when needed.

Learn

We organize exciting lectures, visit companies together, but also enjoy going to the theatre, museum, or concert. With a wide range of cultural activities, we want to constantly expand our own horizons beyond our professional commitments.

Celebrate

The value of sibling-like friendship within our club is particularly important to us, which is why we celebrate extensively. After our meetings, on one of our club weekends, or at events of other clubs, we like to meet new friends, and lifelong friendships often develop between people from all walks of life.
