Celebrating the Launch of Rotaract Club Wien-Central at Palais Wertheim
On October 14th 2022, Rotaract Club Wien-Central got to celebrate its' launch with an extraordinary Charter-party taking place at Palais Wertheim.
Founded in 2021 by Nikolas Neubauer, and ever since conducted by our current president Cara Herneth, the club is able to shine through its' enormous number of active members. With 47 motivated people and an average age of 24, not only are we a considerably young institution, but more so the largest Rotaract Club in District 1910.
As a fairly new club, we feel fortunate to have been granted so many unique personalities, enrichening our daily club-life as well as encouraging the exchange of versatile interests among them.
Meeting at Radisson Blu for a lecture every first Thursday and having an open meeting at varying locations every third Thursday a month, we maintain our schedule diversified and suitable for all topics.
Not only our board officiated as a huge support on our founding path, RC Wien-Stephansplatz, above all Alexandra Roth-Pollack-Parnau and Hiltrud Zehrl, had been of essential help allong the way up until our event.
With 120 guests filling the "Spiegelsaal" in Palais Wertheim, we simply couldn't have asked for a more unparalleled evening and a better start for this Club.
The gala dinner with musical accompaniment from a string quartet created a marvelous and animated setting.
But what would Rotaract be without doing good? Due to an art auction, it was possible to secure a monetary basis for a charitable cause and future social projects.
Needless to say, this Club will have a bright future ahead and we feel honored and delighted to be part of such an incredibly large and meaningful organization as Rotary.
We are looking forward to many fruitful interactions in this new-found "family" and are thrilled for prospective partnerships and projects.
