On January 21, 2023, members of Rotaract Club Graz had the opportunity to spend a day at the wood workshop of Tag.werk, where they were introduced to the process of creating bird feeders with the support of Martin Obendrauf. The birdhouses were produced with the goal of supporting Tag.werk, an organization committed to sustainability, inclusion, and social interaction through the promotion of creativity and upcycling. Tag.werk has been providing a supportive environment for young people aged 15 to 25 who have difficulties finding their place in the job market, as well as for individuals in recovery from addiction. Participants are given the opportunity to learn a trade, gain work experience, and ultimately find employment. Over the years, around 65% of participants have successfully entered the workforce or completed an apprenticeship. The birdhouses produced by Rotaract Club Graz and Tag.werk are not only functional and beautifully crafted, but also contribute to a larger cause. The profit from their sale will be donated to Tag.werk to support their mission of empowering those in need and promoting sustainability through creative and inclusive means. So if you're interested in supporting a social project that makes a positive impact, consider ordering one of these handmade birdhouses. Help support Tag.werk and join Rotaract Club Graz in making a difference in the lives of young people and the environment.
