The First Rotary Youth Annual Summer Forum: Young Leaders Crossing European Borders – application starts now.

Exciting news for young leaders in Austria, Montenegro, and Serbia, as the project website for the ROTARY YOUTH ANNUAL SUMMER FORUM A: MNE: SRB 2023-2025 www.rotaryyouthforum.eu is now "on air".

This initiative is a joint effort by Rotary Clubs RC Wien Hofburg, RAC Wien-Hofburg-St. Stephan, RC Budva-Montenegro, and RC Skadarlija-Serbia. The forum will bring together young people from these countries to discuss and develop future scenarios for improved teaching and education opportunities, with the aim of strengthening relationships, peace, and cooperation.

The workshop discussions will be supported by professional guidance and will lead towards concrete projects that will be implemented in participating countries, in line with the "Area of Focus of Rotary International" and the "Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations". This initiative is a great opportunity for young people to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and build lasting friendships.

The first forum will take place in VIENNA Sept 8th - 10th 2023, followed by BUDVA 2024 and BELGRADE 2025. The event is open to non-Rotarian/Rotaract youths in the participating countries, and the goal is to sustainably foster cross-border youth exchange. The forum will consist of three interdisciplinary panel discussions, and the recommendations that arise from them will be monitored for implementation by the Rotary Clubs hosting the forum.

The forum will also feature a keynote speech by Dr. Valentin Inzko, the former High Representative of the UN to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and an Austrian Ambassador. The Rotary Youth Annual Summer Forum is a fantastic initiative that gives hope to the youth and aims to create a united future.
